Lindsey Graham: FISA Abuse Investigation

4/22/2020

Senate Judiciary Chairman Lindsey Graham, (R-SC), is posting in one convenient website all of the declassified confidential human source transcripts related to the Crossfire Hurricane operation.

These transcripts reveal the stringent denials of campaign adviser George Papadopoulos to Stefan Halper, the FBI’s confidential informant, that the Trump campaign had anything to do with the hacking of the Democratic National Committee.

In the transcripts, Papadopoulos says collusion was “illegal” and that “espionage is treason … There’s no collusion, and it’s going to remain that way.”

Another campaign advisor, Carter Page, denied any collusion with Russia as well. Both men thought their conversations with Halper were confidential and with a friendly supporter of the campaign.

One doesn’t have to be a Trump supporter to find it immensely disturbing that the FBI never shared this exculpatory information with the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court.
